Son of John Reid (founding father of the New Zealand helicopter industry), Bill Reid is a helicopter pilot living in 88 Valley, south of Nelson. With 16,000 hours and 40 years helicopter flying under his belt, Bill is one of New Zealand’s most experienced pilots. After twenty years building an award-winning helicopter business, Bill has semi-retired, leaving his son Toby to carry on the legacy, and Bill to focus on his attention on restoring WWII vintage aircraft.
