Julian Clary returns to New Zealand as Lord of the Mince. See him at the 2010 NZ International Comedy Festival
Julian Clary is one of UK’s most recognisable entertainers, and during his 17 years in show business he has turned his hand to comedy, acting, presenting, writing and even as a novice dancer on BBC's Strictly Come Dancing, where he reached the final. Julian has appeared on numerous television programmes including Friday Night Live (Ch 4, UK) and is best known in New Zealand from his TV show Sticky Moments .
Julian claims that he has “done for mincing what Michael Flatley did for Irish dancing.” Julian entertains his audiences with innuendos that are side-splittingly funny and he returns, maybe older and wiser, but definitely as risqué as ever.
“His persona of camp superciliousness is effortlessly amusing – Clary’s genius is to find sexual suggestion where the rest of us wouldn’t think of looking” - GUARDIAN, UK
