Terms and conditions1. Entry into this competition is deemed as acceptance of these terms and conditions.
2. To enter, purchase a copy of Dust to Gold (ISBN 9781869792800) and enter your details in the on-line entry form on the previous page.
3. One entry per person will be accepted.
4. All entries must be received by 5pm on Sunday 31 January 2010.
5. One winner will be drawn at random and will be contacted by the promoter no later than Friday 12 February 2010 to make arrangements concerning the prize.
6. The prize winner must retain their copy of the qualifying title and their purchase receipt. The store name on the receipt must match the store name entered in the online entry, and the date of the receipt must fall on or before the closing date of the competition. Failure to provide proof of purchase that satisfies these conditions may result in the forfeiture of any right to the prize.
7. The prize consists of return flights for two to Queenstown, one night's accommodation in Queenstown, one night's accommodation at Bendigo station, shuttles to and from Bendigo station, and a day living the Bendigo lifestyle, including a helicopter ride to Shrek's cave and other activities as deemed seasonally appropriate.
8. The winner’s name and photo may be used for promotional purposes.
9. Entry is open to New Zealand residents, with the exception of booksellers and Random House NZ staff, family and contractors. Entrants under the age of 18 must have the permission a parent or legal guardian.
10. In randomly selecting the winner, and in the event of any dispute or need for clarification, the promoter’s decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into.
11. If a prize or part of a prize is unavailable for any reason the promoter reserves the right to substitute the prize or part of the prize with another prize of equal value and notify the winner accordingly.
12. No cash alternative to the stated prize will be offered.
13. The promoter is not liable for any loss, damage or injury to any person in connection with this competition.
14. No responsibility is accepted for internet entries not received.
15. Entries remain the property of the promoter.
16. The promoter reserves the right to change these terms and conditions.
